Week 8 Progress

        I'm happy with how this class is going so far. Originally, my schedule was planned for doing both readings on Monday, my story on Tuesday, blog comments on Wednesday, and project editing/feedback on Sunday. I found the readings to be too much for one day. Now, I do my readings on Monday and Tuesday, story on Wednesday, and everything else on Sunday. A lot of times I do my blog comments on Fridays, though. I've got these all set up in my homework app, so I've not forgotten to do anything (yet). I've not done any extra credit, but there's still time! I think I enjoy working on my project the most. It allows me to go back and reread my work and fine tune all the little details. Since everything has been going so smoothly, I'll probably just keep doing what I'm doing. If anything, I might try some new unique styles for my stories or lengthen my reading notes.

Hey everyone, my name's Casey. My major is Biology-Pre PA(Physician Assistant) and this is my second year at OU. I've considered changing my major and career path multiple times, but I keep circling back to this. Lately, I've been thinking more about applying to PA school and how in the world I'm going to get in. Week 11 Story: The King and the Deer

He spent many days in the forests and wilderness of his kingdom. On one occasion, he spotted a particularly large and beautiful deer. His heart was dead set on conquering the creature. The king urged his horse faster and faster, racing after the deer beyond his companions. At the very last moment, the king saw a chasm ahead and yanked the reins. He and his horse skidded to a halt just before falling over the cliff. The deer had not been so lucky and laid at the bottom, still alive but gravely injured.         The king looked down at the creature he had been determined to kill, and his heart broke. He could not kill the animal now that it had been wounded. It wouldn’t be proper sport since he had an unfair advantage. But he also couldn’t leave the animal to die there.
